The Brooklyn Tower
Brooklyn • Residences
Brooklyn's first supertall climbs 1,066 feet / 93 stories above the landmarked Beaux-Arts Dime Savings Bank of Brooklyn (1908) at the convergence of DeKalb, Flatbush and Fleet, where Downtown Brooklyn meets Fort Greene. SHoP Architects designed an extruded interlocking-hexagon massing clad in shimmering bronze, blackened steel and copper — its convex/concave crown reading as a Gotham-City silhouette across the East River. JDS Development Group developed the 800,000-sq-ft tower; Silverstein Properties took control of the unsold inventory in June 2024. The mixed-tenure program holds 398 condominiums (interiors by Gachot Studios) above 150 rentals, with amenities by Woods Bagot, including a 27,000-sq-ft 'Society' wellness floor inside the historic banking hall. Topped out 2021, occupancy from late 2022.
