H.O.R.I.Z.O.N.
Lake Worth Beach • Mixed-Use
H.O.R.I.Z.O.N. is a proposed public-private redevelopment of Lake Worth Beach's city-owned beachfront and municipal golf course, submitted by an investment group led by Copperline Partners and projected to generate $150M+ a year for the local economy and roughly 1,000 permanent jobs. The plan keeps land ownership with the city under long-term leases and centers on two Hyatt-branded hotels: a $105M, 250-room Grand Hyatt on the beachside parking lots and a $95M, 150-room Hyatt conference hotel at the golf course. The municipal course would get a $22M redesign by Jack Nicklaus' new firm, 1JN, alongside a 5-acre oceanfront park, a $50M parking garage, and new beachside buildings with restaurants, shops, and a marine-themed attraction. The Intracoastal side adds a kayak and paddleboard launch, with a new city recreation center and pool built inland at Northwest Park.
